“The instruction of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.” Psalm 37:31 HCSB

The righteous person will have a lifelong desire to learn God’s Word. His entire life will be guided and directed by God’s instructions. He will love to read and study the Bible. God’s Word will fill his thoughts and will guide his actions in wisdom, justice and holiness. His steps, his coming and goings, his conduct and manner of life, his lifestyle, will not falter. He will not slip and slide into evil but will walk sure-footed, unwavering and confident in obedience to God’s Word.

Lord Jesus, I treasure Your Holy Word and long to learn its instructions and to be guided by its truth. Direct my steps, my life, so that I will not slip but that I would steadily walk in Your righteousness.
