Glad Service
Psalm 100:2
The Upward Look
by Max D. Hutto,
“Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing.” Psalm 100:2 NASB
With a glad, joyous, and grateful heart, God’s people are to serve Him. Service not only means a joyful worship full of singing His praises, experiencing His presence, and hearing His Word, but also service encompasses a life obediently following His commands, living every moment of every day in a way that honors and glorifies Him. Having experienced the Lord’s saving grace and forgiving mercy, a believer gladly worships and serves the Lord, reflecting that grace, mercy, and love in everything he does.
Lord Jesus, my life is filled with joy and grateful gladness because of Your amazing grace that saved me and sustains me every day. With joyful singing, may all I do honor and glorify You.
