Shout, Sing, and Say
Psalm 66:1-3a

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“Shout joyfully to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, ‘How awe-inspiring are Your works!’” Psalm 66:1-3a HCSB

The psalmist overflows with praise to God for His marvelous deeds. Not only the children of God but all the people of the world would hear of God’s amazing glory. All the earth must be told of the wondrous works of God. The children of God must tell His story that begins with joyful praise for He is the Almighty God. The story must continue by telling of all that God has done, including His great work of salvation. He has provided by His grace a salvation that is available to all who would place their faith and trust in Jesus.

Lord God, You are awesome, marvelous, glorious, and amazing. Thank You for the gift of salvation and eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ.
