“But those who seek my life, to destroy it, Will go into the depths of the earth. They will be delivered over to the power of the sword; They will be a prey for foxes.” Psalm 63:9-10 NASB

David, God’s servant, is running for his life. His enemies are in hot pursuit trying to kill him. David did not personally harm his enemies, but he prays that God would deal with them and judge them because of their sin. The enemies’ rebellion against God will sentences them to death in hell. The wrath of God will be delivered by the sword of justice, and the enemies’ bodies will be devoured by wild animals.

Lord Jesus, many people are still rebelling against You and will be judged and condemned for their sin. Help me to share Your offer of forgiveness and new life, provided by Your death on the cross and resurrection from the grave.
