“Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.” Psalm 25:8 NASB
God’s very nature and character is good and upright. He is benevolent and kind, desiring the very best for His people. He is pure, righteous, and holy, without any sin or wrong doing. Because of His goodness, He will teach and guide us how to turn away from our wicked, rebellious, sinful life to walk in His way, down the path of goodness, purity, and righteousness. Relying on God’s faithfulness and goodness, David is willing to be taught how to live God’s way.
Lord Jesus, I desire to learn how to walk in Your way. Teach me how to live a good and righteous life.
