“Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.” Psalm 25:5 NASB

Continuing his plea to know God’s ways and path, David desires God to lead, guide, and teach him truth. David wants more than instruction in knowledge. He needs a guide to give him direction and assistance as they travel down the path together. He declares his confidence and trust in God as his salvation, his deliverance, his refuge, his protection, and his strength. David is totally dependent on God to guide him through the circumstances and troubles of life.

Lord Jesus, I too need Your daily guidance through the struggles of life. You are my only hope as I confidently lean on You for truth, understanding, deliverance, and strength.
