“Who is this person who fears the LORD? He will show him the way he should choose.” Psalm 25:12 CSB
To fear God is not to shrink back in terror, but it is a reverential acknowledgment and apprehension that comes with an understanding of God’s holy, just, and almighty character. It also is an acknowledgment of one’s own sinfulness and humbleness when faced with the righteousness, holiness, purity, and power of God. God will instruct and show this person, who appropriately acknowledges Him, the way, the path, to walk that pleases Him.
Lord Jesus, You are my Savior, my Lord, my Holy God in whom I trust. I choose to follow Your instructions and walk this day in the way of righteousness that brings You glory and honor.
