“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands.” Psalm 19:1 HCSB
God’s amazing creation declares His glory. The heavens comprise the vastness of the universe beginning with our sun and moon and expanding to the stars and galaxies. The sky refers to the atmosphere that surrounds the earth, including the air and weather, that God created to sustain life. All of these express the mighty power and glory of God the Creator. His glory encompasses all of God’s character and attributes, including His holiness, majesty, power, wisdom, faithfulness, and lovingkindness.
Lord Jesus, I marvel at the vastness and preciseness of the universe that You created. Even more I bow in humbleness that You would love and care about me and all people.
