Psalm 16:3
The Upward Look

“As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” Psalm 16:3 ESV
Because David places his whole trust in the Lord God, he also takes delight in the saints, God’s people who are set apart to follow, serve, and honor God. He finds joy spending time with God’s people here on the earth. He enjoys worshiping and serving the Lord with other believers. The saints are described as righteous, majestic, glorious, noble, and excellent because they have trusted in God and through His grace He has bestowed on them His righteousness, majesty, and glory.
Lord Jesus, You are my heart’s desire, my joy and salvation. I delight in worshiping You with other believers. Thank You for placing me in a church family that loves and honors You.
