“Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:2-3 KJV

In beautiful poetry these verses call us to give praise to the Lord. To bless His name means to honor and praise God for who He is and what He has done. It conveys the idea of kneeling before the Almighty God in submission and reverence, giving Him glory and honor for He is the Sovereign King. This praise begins now and continues forever. From the first rays of the dawning sun to the last beams of sunset, He is to be praised. From the people in the east to those in the west, all will praise Him.

Lord God, I fall before You the Almighty God, the King of kings, and Lord of lords. You are God my Savior, my Redeemer, my Rock, my Strength, and my Hope.
