“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6 NASB
God began the work of salvation in the believer’s life the moment he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and Lord. The believer is saved from the penalty of sin. God will continue to work to make the believer perfect or complete. The believer is being saved from the power of sin. On “the day of Christ Jesus,” God will finish the believer’s salvation. The believer will be saved from the presence of sin.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for the salvation You provide through the cross. Help me to to be sensitive to Your working in my life today.
