Worry is Faithless

“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!” Matthew 6:28-30 NASB

Worry is the opposite of faith. When we worry we prove we have little faith in God’s provision and have failed to totally trust Jesus in all aspects of our life. God has provided a great example of His care for us in the way He has adorned the springtime with beautiful flowers. The azaleas, dogwoods, and other plants blossom in splendor that only lasts a few days. God gave great attention to the flowers. He will give greater attention to you, for you are enormously more valuable to God than flowers.

Lord Jesus, I am awestruck by the beautiful flowers that remind me of Your precious watch care over those who love and trust You.
