“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” Luke 2:10 NASB

Even as we celebrate Christmas, our world is filled with bad news that makes us sad, anxious, and depressed. Yet, the tidings that the angel brought so many years ago still ring out today. There is “good news” that can give you “great joy!” That baby, born that night in Bethlehem, is the Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord. He offers this salvation to all who would put their trust in Him alone. Have you placed your faith in Him? Are you obediently following Him? Christmas is a wonderful time to commit or recommit your life to following Jesus.

Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me great joy even in the midst of so much bad news in the world. Help me to live in a way that brings honor and glory to You, my Savior and Lord.
