Zacharias - Changed and Still Faithful
Luke 1:22-23

“But when he came out, he was unable to speak to them; and they realized that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he kept making signs to them, and remained mute. And it came about, when the days of his priestly service were ended, that he went back home.” Luke 1:22-23 NASB

Zacharias' encounter with God’s angel was a life-changing event. An outward sign of this changed life was his inability to speak. This loss caused Zacharias and those around him great stress. Yet he remained faithful to the Lord as demonstrated by his continuing to fulfill his priestly duties. When we truly encounter God, our life is forever changed, and we will continue to be faithful to our commitment to Him.

Lord Jesus, my life was forever changed when I accepted Your gift of salvation. Help me to remain faithful to You even when dramatic and stressful events happen.
