“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” John 20:31 NIV

Jesus is His personal name that means God is salvation. Jesus is the Savior who came to save us from the eternal destruction caused by our sin. The title Christ means the Messiah, the Anointed One from God. The Christ is the Promised One who is the Holy Prophet, the High Priest, and the Royal King. He is the promised Lion of Judah and the Seed of David. The Christ is the Suffering Servant who is the Redeemer. The title Son of God expresses the deity of Jesus, His divine nature and oneness with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus, I humbly and reverently bow before You, my King and my God. I yield my life to You, my Savior and my Redeemer.
