“But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:31 NASB

What was John referring to when he stated “these have been written”? Specifically he was referring to the book he was writing that we call the Gospel of John. But in a broader context, it could be all of Scripture, the Holy Bible. A study of the Bible must be both a constant lifelong study and a consistent daily study. A study of the Bible is more than just learning the stories and facts. It is even more than applying the truths to your daily life. It is about knowing and believing in Jesus.

Lord Jesus, help me to study the Bible and learn how to live a holy and righteous lifestyle. But also help me to know, love, serve, and honor You, my Savior and Lord.
