“Then the LORD said to me: Do not say, "I am only a youth," for you will go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you.” Jeremiah 1:7 CSB
No matter what one’s age, whether young or old or middle-aged, we are to serve and obey God. Jeremiah was reassured of God’s call to be a prophet despite his young age. God was sending him to speak His Word. Jeremiah was to go wherever and to whomever God sent him. Like Jeremiah we are to go and speak God’s Word wherever God sends us. No matter what stage of life we are in, God expects us to live a life of obedience, doing what He commands.
Lord Jesus, help me to learn from Your Word, the Bible, what I am to do. Then help me to obey Your commands and speak Your Word to others.
