“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians 6:9 NASB

Thinking about the principle of the farmer who sows a crop and in due time will reap a harvest, Paul urges the believers to continue doing what is right. We have a tendency to tire of doing good. We get weary, discouraged, and lose heart, especially when we see little or no profitable results. Paul reminds us that the harvest will come at the proper time. In our day we want to immediately see the results of our good deeds and righteous living. Yet often all we see is more and more evil around us. The principle of the harvest gives us encouragement to continue doing what is right.

Lord Jesus, help me to continue doing what is right in Your sight no matter what is happening around me. Strengthen me to keep on reflecting Your great love, mercy, and grace.
