Galatians 6:8
The Upward Look

“The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:8 NIV
Paul plainly lays out the principle of “cause and effect.” What one sows in his life, he will reap in the harvest. If one fills his life with sinful actions and attitudes, he will receive back corruption and destruction. If one fills his life with attitudes and actions that please God, he will receive his heavenly reward. Someday there will be a payday, for the crop you plant in your life will inevitably bring a harvest in like kind.
Lord Jesus, help me to fill my life with things that please You. Help me sow generously preparing for a bountiful spiritual harvest.
