The Upward Look

“With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,” Ephesians 6:7 NASB
Believers should render service, doing all their work with goodwill toward others. Working with the attitude of goodwill should include being friendly, courteous, polite, respectful, considerate, cooperative, and dependable. Believers should show kindness toward others while working, not because they are trying to please other people, but because they are serving the Lord. No matter what the task, the motivation for doing any work is to please, to honor, to glorify the Lord.
Lord Jesus, help me to show kindness and goodwill toward others as I serve You, doing my work to the best of my abilities. In everything that I do, may I glorify You.
