Use Time Wisely
Ephesians 5:16
The Upward Look
by Max D. Hutto,
“Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16 NASB
One vital aspect of a believer’s careful walk is to use time wisely, seizing every opportunity to do what is right and pleasing in God’s sight. The brevity of life means that every moment is precious and must be used to honor God. Psalm 103 reflects that man is like a flower in the field that flourishes and then is quickly blown away in the wind. Every fleeting moment must be used wisely and not foolishly or frivolously wasted, especially since the world is so full of wickedness and evil.
Lord Jesus, whether busily serving or quietly resting, help me to wisely use my time by doing what is good and righteous. May all that I do honor and glorify You.
