Grace Gifts
Ephesians 4:7

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift.” Ephesians 4:7 NASB

While there is unity in the body of Christ, the church, every believer is uniquely gifted to serve the body. While there is unity, there is not uniformity. Each believer is distinctly gifted to serve and minister for the cause of Christ. Christ has graciously given to every individual believer at least one special spiritual grace gift to be used to unify and build up the church. Christ imparts these gifts to each and every believer as He deems appropriate in order to accomplish His work in the church and the world.

Lord Jesus, help me to use the gifts You have given me to serve in Your church and to share Your love and grace to others. May my life bring glory and honor to You.
