One Body, One Spirit, One Hope
Ephesians 4:4

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;” Ephesians 4:4 NASB

While believers meet in many local churches all over the world, there is only one body of Christ composed of all believers. There is only one Holy Spirit who indwells within every believer, providing the power and guidance needed to live for Christ. There is one hope in Christ who will return as Lord and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords for all of eternity. This hope confidently asserts that all believers are called by God and by His grace will spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven.

Lord Jesus, I long for the unity that will be experienced in Heaven. Help me to maintain spiritual unity in the church as I daily walk with You and in Your grace.
