Walk with Love
Ephesians 4:2e

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love” Ephesians 4:2 ESV

Perhaps the greatest character quality that describes a walk in Christ is love, agape love. This type of love that God has for us prompted and propelled Jesus to the cross where He willingly gave His life as a ransom for us, paying the price for our sin. Agape love is an unconditional love that loves despite the circumstance or the response. It is a love not of emotion but of the will that chooses to love. It is love in action that seeks the very best for another person while expecting nothing in return.

Lord Jesus, Your great love compels and motivates me to love others. Let my daily walk be so filled with this love that others would see and come to know Your mercy and grace.
