Put On The New
Ephesians 4:24
The Upward Look
by Max D. Hutto,
“and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Ephesians 4:24 NASB
Having put off the old sinful nature, a believer is to be clothed in the new nature. This new redeemed life is formed in the likeness of God, being righteous in dealing with others and being holy and pure in relationship with God. This new self, this new creation is to live a life that is exemplified by doing what is right and good and by wholly following and obeying the Lord in all aspects of life as God works to conform the believer into the image of Christ.
Lord Jesus, mold me and make me more like You. Let my life reflect Your righteousness and holiness, giving glory and praise and honor to You.
