Living and Growing
Ephesians 4:15

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head–Christ.” Ephesians 4:15 HCSB

Instead of being persuaded by trickery and cunning of man and living according to the ways of the world, believers must speak and live, being guided by the truth of God. God’s Word must be spoken and lived out in love and compassion that expresses His desire for all people to repent from sinful ways and live righteous and holy lives in Christ. Believers must grow and mature in their daily walk with Christ. In every aspect of their lives, believers must become more and more like Jesus who is their only Lord and Master.

Lord Jesus, help me to grow by learning to obey Your Word in all I say and do. I surrender my life to following You and living according to Your Word.
