God Created
Ephesians 3:9b

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,” Ephesians 3:9 ESV

In a short little phrase Paul states a fact that is highly debated in the world today. God created all things. Genesis states that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. John begins his gospel with the Trinitarian statement that in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and was God. All things came into being through the Word. The Word became flesh and dwelt with us. Jesus was Emmanuel, God with us. In Colossians Paul writes that all things were created and are held together by Christ.

Lord God, in Your power and for Your glory You created all things. In Your grace You planned this great mystery to save all people who come to faith in Christ.
