A Steward of the Gospel
Ephesians 3:2

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you;” Ephesians 3:2 NASB

Reflecting on his ministry, Paul remembered that during his Damascus road conversion he was commissioned to take the gospel of God’s grace to the Gentiles. To a Jew all other people were considered to be Gentiles, alienated from God and without a relationship with God. Paul had been entrusted with a stewardship, an administration, an office or position charged with taking the gospel to the Gentiles. As a steward of God’s grace he was responsible for sharing the gospel with all people.

Lord Jesus, You have commissioned me and all Your disciples to be witnesses of Your grace. Help me to share the gospel with others so that they too can experience Your saving grace.
