Filled with Christ’s Love
Ephesians 3:19

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19 ESV

Paul prayed that the believers’ lives would be filled up, consumed by, and overflowing with God and His boundless love. The more one understands the love of Christ, a love that willingly provides the perfect atoning sacrifice for our sin, the more amazed and awestruck one feels and the more one worships and praises God and obediently follows His Word. Greater than having all knowledge is allowing God’s love to fill one’s life, to totally flood and immerse oneself in God’s presence.

Lord Jesus, as I grow in my comprehension of Your great love, I desire to know You more and to honor You in all that I do. Fill my life to overflowing with Your grace and love.
