Saved: Faith - Believe
Ephesians 2:8a & Romans 10:9

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“For by grace you have been saved through faith” & “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;” Ephesians 2:8a & Romans 10:9 NASB

A saving faith is more than a superficial acknowledgment or response to the gospel. Saving faith includes a response to God’s revealed Word by confessing that Jesus is Lord with an absolute reliance upon God’s grace. It is an experiential personal relationship that includes a reverential fear and awe of God that results in a life-changing repentance from a sinful life to a life totally committed and submissive to God in Christ.

Lord Jesus, I believe You died and rose again, paying for my sin and providing eternal life. I surrender my all to You and yearn to live out my faith in Your grace.
