Saved: Sanctification
Ephesians 2:8a & 1 Peter 1:14-15

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“For by grace you have been saved through faith” & “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts . . . but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior.” Ephesians 2:8a & 1 Peter 1:14-15 NASB

Sanctification is the process of salvation where the believer is set apart from an old worldly carnal lifestyle to a new holy lifestyle of obedience and purity. It is the progressive changing of the believer’s behavior, thoughts, and character from sinful to godly ways. It is a lifelong process of becoming like Christ, learning to live as He lived, learning to obey His commands, and learning to follow Christ as His disciple.

Lord Jesus, I am set apart, dedicated, for Your service. By the power of the Holy Spirit, continue to transform me into an obedient and holy disciple.
