Access to the Father
Ephesians 2:18

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.” Ephesians 2:18 HCSB

The Triune God is at work reconciling both Jews and Gentiles by providing peace with God. It is through Christ, God the Son, that the ransom for sin is paid and that redemption is available through His precious blood shed on the cross. Because of His sacrificial gift, those Jews and Gentiles who place their faith in Christ have access to God the Father by the power and presence of God the Holy Spirit. By God’s grace through faith in Christ, everyone can have a personal and saving relationship with God.

Lord Jesus, because of Your sacrifice on the cross I can boldly come into the presence of the Father, to the very throne of God and find mercy and grace. By the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, my soul is at peace with God.
