To Praise The Lord
Ephesians 1:6

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:6 NASB

God the Father blessed, chose, elected, predestined, and adopted us so that we would praise and worship Him. We praise Him for the glory and splendor of His marvelous, amazing grace. This grace is freely bestowed on us through Jesus, the Beloved Son. We don’t deserve His blessing and grace, yet Christ freely gave to us, through His death and resurrection, this great gift of redemption, salvation, righteousness, and holiness. Our response to God’s grace must be to praise Him in word and deed.

Lord Jesus, I lift my voice to praise You for Your amazing, overwhelming grace, which You lavishly poured out on my life. Let my every word and my entire life bring You glory and honor.
