"And through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven." Colossians 1:20 NASB

There is a broken relationship between God and man. God wants that relationship to be reconciled. He wants to have a personal relationship with every person. Jesus shed His blood on the cross in order that those who would believe would be reconciled to Him. Those who trust in Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord will have their sins forgiven by the cleansing blood and be at peace with God.

Lord Jesus, the shedding of Your blood on the cross has made the way for me to have forgiveness and to be at peace with You. Help our relationship so that each day I may grow closer to You.
