Mockers and scoffers throughout all of history have expressed skepticism about God and the keeping of His promises. They cry out that life on earth continues just like it always has from the beginning of time. They mock God’s Word. They scoff that Jesus has not come back like He promised. They constantly show contempt and make fun of God, His promises, His Word, and His people. These mockers and scoffers continue to harass believers today and continue to deny God’s Word.
Lord Jesus, I believe that Your Word, the Bible, is true and that You will come back some day. Help me to live in a way that glorifies You even when confronted by mockers and scoffers.
