“If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him.” 2 John 10 NIV
There is grave danger in associating with false teachers. John is warning believers not to listen to these false teachers nor help in supporting them by providing meals and lodging for them. Teachers who do not accept Jesus as the Son of God and the Savior and Lord of their lives, these must not be supported or encouraged by a believer. While believers are to be hospitable, they must be careful not to give even the appearance of supporting someone who is anti-Christian and anti-Jesus. Believers must not aid in the spreading of these false doctrines.
Lord Jesus, help me not to compromise the Christian faith by accepting and supporting those who teach a false religious doctrine. Let me stand for truth found in the Bible.
