“Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.” 1 John 2:23 NASB

Many false teachers claim that Jesus is not God. They say Jesus was a good man but could not be divine. This denial of Jesus as the Son of God means they have no relationship with God the Father. You cannot separate God the Father and God the Son. To reject one is to reject the other. Those who confess that Jesus is God the Son also have a relationship with God the Father. When one accepts Jesus, acknowledging Him as Savior and Lord, then one has a personal relationship with God the Father and God the Son.

Lord Jesus, You are God and the ruler of my life. Help me to draw closer to You and thus to the Father through an intimate and obedient relationship.
