“If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” 1 John 1:10 NASB
If we say we have not sinned, then either we are lying or God is lying. Either we believe what God’s Word says or we don’t. God has declared that we are sinners. We may try to blame someone else for our wrongs, or say we were misled, but ultimately we must accept the responsibility for our own actions. We must agree with God that we are sinners. Only then can we accept God’s forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, I agree with Your Word, the Bible, when it says that I am a sinner. Only You can forgive and cleanse my life from sin.
