“LORD, there is no one like You, and there is no God besides You, as all we have heard confirms.” 1 Chronicles 17:20 HCSB
David’s prayer burst forth in praise and worship of the great Lord God. In a mighty statement of faith, he declares that there is no other god besides the Lord God. He is without equal. The gods of the other nations could never compare to the Lord God. In our day it has been falsely said that the gods of other religions are the same as the God of the Bible. Others have falsely stated that all religions are the same. No! There is no one like the Lord God and there is no salvation except through Christ Jesus.
Lord God, You are the Almighty God who is holy and just. In Your grace, mercy, and love You save and redeem through Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord.
