Significant Places: Great White Throne
Revelation 20:11-12

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it . . . And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne . . . and another book was opened, which is the book of life;” Revelation 20:11-12 NASB

Jesus will return. Though there are many questions concerning His second coming and many of the specific details of His second coming remain hidden, Jesus will come again and will come as Judge. The books and the book of life will be opened and all people will be judged. Those whose names are not found in the book of life will face an eternity of punishment in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

Lord Jesus, I will stand before Your throne, knowing that my name is in the book of life solely because of Your grace through my faith in You as my Savior and Lord.
