Lovingkindness and Truth
Psalm 57:10

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“I will give thanks to You . . . For Your lovingkindness is great to the heavens And Your truth to the clouds.” Psalm 57:10 NASB

David’s heart and song abound in thanksgiving and praise to God for His great lovingkindness and truth. David is thankful for God’s lovingkindness, His faithful, steadfast, unchanging, and unfailing love. God’s covenant, loyal love is unmeasurable for it is higher than the highest heavens. David praises God for His truth, His trustworthy, faithful, steadfast, dependable, and unchanging holy standard. Yes! God is to be praised for His great lovingkindness and truth.

Lord God, I too am amazed at Your great lovingkindness and truth. I am thankful that Your great mercy, grace, and love have changed my life through Jesus, my Savior and my Lord.
