“Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.” Psalm 95:6 NASB

The next training exercise or discipline the believer must practice to become spiritually fit is to worship God. To worship is to ascribe worth to God by magnifying and praising Him for who He is and for what He has done. It is to give honor to God with respect and reverence. In this verse the psalmist calls all the people to come and worship together, bowing and kneeling before the Creator. To be spiritually fit the believer must participate in corporate and in private worship.

Lord Jesus, as I train to be physically and spiritually fit, fill my life with worship. Daily let me spend time praising and glorifying my Lord and Savior.
