"My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken." Psalm 62:1-2 NASB

This psalm speaks of total trust in God. It tells of waiting in silence before God. This is the spending time in quiet prayer and meditation on God’s Word, the Bible. In our fast paced hectic world, one must take time out each day to spend with God. Learning from Him through His Word, and telling Him of one’s innermost thoughts.

Lord Jesus, I look forward to that time each day that I spend with You. Help me to glean from that precious time the comfort and strength I need to face the day.
