“From the end of the earth I call to Thee, when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2 NASB

The poet had reached the end of his rope. He was emotionally, mentally, and spiritually wrung out, drained to the very bottom of the bucket. He could not handle life anymore on his own. He then cried out for help to the only One who can help him, the rock that is Jesus Christ the Lord God. For in Jesus he could find the refuge and strength needed to face life even in the most difficult times.

Lord Jesus, You have been my rock, my rescuer, and my support in the difficult times of life. Help me to share with others who need the Rock of Ages!
