“The heavens are telling of the glory of God . . . The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul.” Psalm 19:1a,7a NASB
The heavens and all of creation can only reveal a limited knowledge of the glory, wisdom, and might of the Creator God. Yet God desires that we know Him in a more thorough way. Thus He reveals Himself to us through the Bible, the inspired Word of God. David begins the second half of this psalm by describing the Scriptures using six different terms, attributes, and responses that testify of the greatness and power of Scripture to transform a person for the glory of God.
Lord Jesus, I am thankful for the Bible, and how it tells me about You. Help me to learn from the Bible how I should act so that my life will glorify and honor You.
