“My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart.” Proverbs 3:1 NIV

Solomon is teaching his son some precepts on how to behave and think. He encourages his son and all of us to always remember his teachings. Don’t forget them! Don’t just put them in your memory, but in your heart. Make them precious and cherished possessions. God desires that all believers would love His Word and obey His commands. God’s Word should be so precious and so dear to them that they would place it in their hearts.

Lord Jesus, Your Word is a prized possession. Help me to obey Your teachings and act according to how the Bible says a believer should live.
