“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3 NASB

When life was bleak and full of doom and despair for the prophet Jeremiah and for the children of Israel, God gave them an encouraging prayer promise. He urged them to call out to Him in their time of trouble. God would answer their sincere and earnest plea for help and mercy in their time of need. He would reveal magnificent and incomprehensible things about the future restoration of the nation. This verse continues to be a great prayer promise encouraging God’s people to call out to Him.

Lord Jesus, no matter the circumstances, even when it seems so dark and troubled, remind me to call to You in prayer. Teach me great things from Your Word as I trust in You.
