“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NIV

During the dark days of despair, destruction, defeat, and exile, Isaiah cries out to Israel not to fear. There is a light of hope in the midst of the darkness, despair, and dismay. God is present with them and will provide the needed strength and help. Those who trust in God and courageously stand with Him in righteousness will gain the strength to face the troubles of the dark times. God loves and cares for His people. He will uphold and undergird them with His righteous and powerful right hand.

Lord Jesus, the world seems so dark and evil, yet I find hope, comfort, and assurance in You. Give me the strength and courage to stand for Your truth and righteousness.
