Walk Carefully
Ephesians 5:15
The Upward Look

“Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,” Ephesians 5:15 NASB
The believer is to walk, to live every day, carefully, circumspectly, diligently, by giving his full attention to how he lives. The wise seek to live every moment pleasing the Lord, knowing and obeying the Lord in all he thinks and does. The rudder of his life’s boat is directed completely by the Word of God. The unwise lives his life recklessly without much thought or preparation. His boat is being tossed about by the winds of circumstances and emotional whims, without concern or regard for God or His Word.
Lord Jesus, may I live my life in a manner worthy of the calling of Christ by carefully walking in Your ways. Teach me how to live wisely in faithful obedience to Your Word.
