To Speak of These Things
Ephesians 5:12

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“For it is shameful even to mention what is done by them in secret.” Ephesians 5:12 HCSB

By nature those that walk in darkness do unfruitful, disgraceful, shameful deeds. The believer must be careful and cautious when talking about these deeds of disobedience, otherwise he may be polluted, consumed, and enticed by these wicked deeds. There is a dangerous slippery slope that can result by simply mentioning and exposing the secret deeds of darkness. Becoming too familiar with wickedness can lead to falling into sin by doing the same dark, evil, sinful deeds.

Lord Jesus, it is so easy to get enticed by the deeds of darkness. Keep my mind and my deeds centered and focused on You so that I may honor You by walking in Your light.
